Seattle Children's Must Grow Now!
Dear Friends of Children's Hospital,
Monday, April 5th was a monumental day for Seattle Children's and we are thrilled that the Seattle City Council voted to approve our much needed expansion.
After nearly three years of work from staff, neighbors and influential supporters like you, we are finally ready to begin moving forward with Phase I of our expansion. Thank you for your role in helping ensure that as our region grows, Seattle Children's grows right along with it.
I am humbled by your overwhelming support and willingness to help when needed. Whether by writing a letter, posting a support sign in your front year, attending a rally or speaking at a public hearing or event, there was nothing too small for Friends of Children's Hospital.
We will be hard at work over the next few months preparing for the kick-off of Phase I construction in early 2011, which would ensure new beds would be available in 2013.
Again, on behalf of everyone at Seattle Children's, I want to personally thank all of our Friends for your strong support.
